Hi Friends!! If you're anything like me, you are ready to get out and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather with the kids! This is my favorite time of the year because we get to visit pumpkin patches, corn mazes, eat pie and my mother-in-law's famous stuffing! :)
Here are some local attractions that can get you into the Fall groove!
Their Fall Festival begins October 1st. This year their corn maze is an homage to the Rattlers and is guaranteed to keep you guessing at every turn. They have fun little scavenger hunt inside the maze for the kids. Barrel train rides, a huge air pillow, a mini zip line and a petting zoo are just a few of the activities the kids will love! You can bring a non-perishable food item to receive a $1 discount off of your admission. Otherwise, pricing is super affordable at $9/person with children 2 or younger FREE!
I wait ALL YEAR for their Pumpkin and Chili Party. I crave their chili year round and I gladly pay the admission just for that steaming hot bowl of deliciousness. Of course, its not all about me though. :) My kids LOVE this place *almost* as much as I do. Starting October 1st, they are open every Thursday-Sunday until October 3oth. Every Thursday, they offer Buy One, Get One admissions, but you need to print the coupon from SRP. Do yourself a favor and CLICK HERE. They have hay rides, train rides, a roller coaster, huge tunnel slides, live shows and a honeybee ride for the little ones. FUN!!
Open October 1-31st, this sweet little farm offer tons of fun for an affordable admission of $3/adult and $10/child (1 & older) which includes an Oz pumpkin and stickers for the kiddos to take home and decorate. Their pumpkin patch is stocked with fresh pumpkins daily and they have a market offering Fall decor, pumpkin accessories and specialty treats. I am a sucker for treats. They also have hay rides, an air bounce and a chance to feed farm animals. It is family owned and operated and they appreciate all the support they have gained from locals over the years, which allowed them to expand to a Children's Discover Farm!
They are open daily in October, except for Tuesdays. Admission is $10/person for everyone older than 1 year Mon-Fri and $12/person on the weekends. They do offer special discounts so check their website for details. They have a petting zoo with mini donkeys, goats and pigs. The kids can pan for gold and explore the child size hay maze. They offer pony rides for $3 and have some bagin' BBQ!
OK, now you are equipped with an array of wonderful pumpkin patches to visit so get out there and have some FUN!!!

Welcome to the Copper Hen!Boy oh boy, do I have a treat for you!
"Deborah was very patient with us when looking for a home. She showed us 45 homes in 4 days before we found "the one". She also worked very hard in the evenings to come up with a list of homes to show us the next day that met our criteria. She was a big help in arranging the inspection and being at the house to let people in when we had to go back home to ND. She also looked up phone #'s for me to call to take care of things while we still lived out of state. In my opinion, Deb went above and beyond for us as a realtor.
