Hi Friends!! If you're anything like me, you are ready to get out and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather with the kids! This is my favorite time of the year because we get to visit pumpkin patches, corn mazes, eat pie and my mother-in-law's famous stuffing! :)
Here are some local attractions that can get you into the Fall groove!
Their Fall Festival begins October 1st. This year their corn maze is an homage to the Rattlers and is guaranteed to keep you guessing at every turn. They have fun little scavenger hunt inside the maze for the kids. Barrel train rides, a huge air pillow, a mini zip line and a petting zoo are just a few of the activities the kids will love! You can bring a non-perishable food item to receive a $1 discount off of your admission. Otherwise, pricing is super affordable at $9/person with children 2 or younger FREE!
I wait ALL YEAR for their Pumpkin and Chili Party. I crave their chili year round and I gladly pay the admission just for that steaming hot bowl of deliciousness. Of course, its not all about me though. :) My kids LOVE this place *almost* as much as I do. Starting October 1st, they are open every Thursday-Sunday until October 3oth. Every Thursday, they offer Buy One, Get One admissions, but you need to print the coupon from SRP. Do yourself a favor and CLICK HERE. They have hay rides, train rides, a roller coaster, huge tunnel slides, live shows and a honeybee ride for the little ones. FUN!!
Open October 1-31st, this sweet little farm offer tons of fun for an affordable admission of $3/adult and $10/child (1 & older) which includes an Oz pumpkin and stickers for the kiddos to take home and decorate. Their pumpkin patch is stocked with fresh pumpkins daily and they have a market offering Fall decor, pumpkin accessories and specialty treats. I am a sucker for treats. They also have hay rides, an air bounce and a chance to feed farm animals. It is family owned and operated and they appreciate all the support they have gained from locals over the years, which allowed them to expand to a Children's Discover Farm!
They are open daily in October, except for Tuesdays. Admission is $10/person for everyone older than 1 year Mon-Fri and $12/person on the weekends. They do offer special discounts so check their website for details. They have a petting zoo with mini donkeys, goats and pigs. The kids can pan for gold and explore the child size hay maze. They offer pony rides for $3 and have some bagin' BBQ!
OK, now you are equipped with an array of wonderful pumpkin patches to visit so get out there and have some FUN!!!

"I recently purchased my new home in Arizona with Deb as my Agent. You need to know that I currently live 3000 miles away from the house I just bought. I was very fortunate to have been assigned Deborah. Through emails and phone conversations we both agreed on an area to pursuit my hunt for the perfect retirement home. Let me point out that I also dealt with other Realtors at the same time as Deborah. Apparently they had no time for me and my wanting to educate myself first. Over a period of time they disappeared. Deborah, on the other hand hung in there with me and i wasn't easy, i assure you. So when I finally got to AZ, she was ready to show me properties that were within my guidelines that I received thru their online service. Bing, Bang, Boom, in no time at all I had a solid contract on my new home. Now understand that any Realtor can drag you around from house to house, which I'll be honest, Deborah did. But a GOOD Realtor turns up the power after the contracts are signed. For me it was a huge relief when she continued to make sure I had the best Home Inspector, Pest Inspector, Title company and most importantly a Mortgage Company that was able to turn me into an Arizona homeowner in 30 days...WOW! So go ahead and try the Remax's and Century 21's, you'll see what I mean. You can depend on Deb Dewees to work for you and "your" interests. I recommend this team of Professionals Highly for all the right reasons you need to use a Realtor for... Knowledge, Responsiveness, but most of all Trustworthiness. If you can trust your Realtor, everything else just falls into place.
Added note: I have dealt with Realtors in the past and have never experienced the Care and Total Professionalism that Deborah has for her craft. I traveled cross country to find a home in Arizona not knowing what to expect having come from the Northeast. Once I hooked up with Deborah I really felt at ease. Just knowing that she had a genuine concern to make sure my choice in a home was perfect for me has Great Value. She doesn't try to "sell" you something you don't really like. After I found my Home she took over once again by directing me to Home Inspectors, Mortgage Companies, Title Companies, even a pool maintenance company. All of which were highly professional and allowed me to virtually sit back and relax because I knew I was in good hands. Without her I'm sure my buying experience would not have gone as well as it did. She is a True Professional and now my good friend.
