One of the most commonly recommended companies that I have seen on the Gold Canyon Community Facebook Page is "Design a Ride Transportation." They are a transportation business and from what I can tell, they are doing an excellent job serving our community. Here is a little bit more about Bill & Wendy Miller and Design a Ride Transportation.

"Hi, We moved to Gold Canyon twice, once from Chicago in 2000 and then moved back to Chicago in 2005 and then back to Gold Canyon in 2012. There is a long list of why we love Gold Canyon but the small town feel and community support are 2 of the top reasons we love it.

We are a small family owned and operated transportation service. We offer direct personal rides to and from the airports, sporting events, dinners, nights out and pretty much any destination you desire.
We started this business back in 2015 by accident. I was asked by a friend to give them a ride to the airport because they did not want to take a shared ride service. As we were driving, they suggested I provide a direct ride service for residents of Gold Canyon and the rest is history.
Book a ride with us and you can expect us to be on time, professional safe drivers, clean well maintained vehicles and the best customer service in the transportation industry. We are licensed to operate at both Sky Harbor and Mesa Gateway airports. We are fully commercially insured and our drivers are fingerprinted and background checked through TSA as well as drug tested. All of our drivers have years of experience driving passengers and providing a great experience.
For reservations you can visit our website at or call 480-707-1393
Prices start at $35 from Gold Canyon to Mesa Gateway and $60 from Gold Canyon to Sky Harbor. Prices are for a direct personal ride, we do not provide shuttle ( shared rides) and the price is subject to location and number of passengers in your party that is traveling.
We also offer hourly rates for dinners, concerts, sporting events and nights out.
We ask for at least a 24 hour advance notice for reservations. Reservations made within 24 hours of time of travel are subject to availability.
I would like to add that at anytime you are in our vehicles feel free to request to see our drivers credentials as well as our commercial insurance cards and commercial vehicle registration.
These documents are required by the State of Arizona and both airports to operate a livery service legally."

I asked Bill if he could share the craziest thing that has happened in his car and here was what he had to say...

"I do not have any crazy stories I can share.  What happens in my vehicles stays in my vehicles. All joking aside, we have had a few medical emergencies, forgotten plane tickets and a few other things happen but nothing too crazy."

Please head on over to their Facebook page and show them some love.
